Visa, Passport & Miscellaneous procedures for UK Citizens

There are procedures which need to be understood before you finalize the plan for your travel. It is essential to have your passports ready before applying for Hajj & Umrah. Before visa application can be filed, the UK citizens have to provide proof of finalized flight, Saudi accommodation, and passport details. The process is as follows:

• Flight booking confirmation, accommodation in Makkah and Medina is required for Umrah Visa.
• On acceptance and verification of submitted documents, the Visa shall be issued within 5 working days.
• Urgent Umrah visa issuing service is also available on special request.
• If a female is traveling alone without Mehram then the age must be above 45 years.

Health Recommendations

It is recommended for every UK citizen to consult their physician at least 2 weeks before planning the tour. We do not endorse the citizens who are pregnant & seriously ill to travel for Hajj or Umrah. It is required for every UK citizen to get vaccination certificates from NaTHNaC (National Travel Health Network and Centre). We also advise to practice the following:

• Try to wear facemasks when you are at crowded places.
• Wash your hands properly before having a meal.
• Avoid rubbing and touching your eyes and nose with naked hands.
• Don’t talk too closely with those who are having respiratory problems.
• Wash fruits before you eat.
• Avoid eating under cooked meal specially meat.
• Avoid standing, sitting near any animal or touching it.
